Monthly Luncheon - Business of the Year Nominees

Join us as we recognize the 2021 Business of the Year & Non-Profit of the Year Nominees! We will also hear from ESPN Sports Broadcaster Brenda VanLengen. 

An Emmy Award winner, Brenda VanLengen is a nationally recognized sports broadcaster who has announced live sporting events on ESPN, Fox Sports, Big Ten Network, SEC Network and other television networks for the past 26 years. Her primary sport is women’s basketball, but she has also announced volleyball, soccer and softball.

VanLengen has been on NCAA Tournament women's basketball broadcasts on ESPN since 1996 and announced Big 12 Conference women's basketball on Fox Sports for 24 seasons. She has also operated the “ART Super Telestrator” for ESPN's coverage of the Women's Final Four® and select WNBA Finals.

She currently is serving as an Ambassador for the Big 12 Women’s Basketball Championship, March 10-13, 2022 at Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City.

Additionally, she is independently producing a documentary series detailing the stories of those that built the foundation for college women’s basketball called “If Not For Them.”

VanLengen attended the University of Nebraska Kearney where she was a two-time Academic All American for the women’s basketball program and has been honored as a Distinguished Alumni.
