TRINITY WELLNESS Nourish Your Soul - Persian Cuisine + Culture Workshop

Join Neda and her mom Giti for an enchanting evening of Persian Cuisine + Culture to Nourish YOUR Soul! This special workshop will take you through a journey to the Middle East as you enjoy the flavors and learn about traditions and stories of a soulful way of life! 

Traditional Iranian or Persian food combines the savory flavors of fresh herbs and spices like mint, sumac and saffron, merging it with the sweet tastes of pomegranate, barberry and cinnamon. Topping it off with a flourish of nuts, dried fruits and beans. The result: a taste profile which does not present one distinct flavor, but instead serves up layers that keep the taste buds guessing as to what’s coming next. Persian cuisine is fragrant, delicious and nourishing. Noosh 'eh Jaan - "may it be sweet for your soul and pleasure for your being".

While enjoying these colorful dishes, you will learn where to shop for ingredients, how to prepare with recipes and what the nutritional health benefits are. Dishes will be vegetarian and for the most part gluten free. Please notify Neda if you have any food sensitives or allergies. 

The group will be seated at a sofreh - traditional style spread on a floor mat for gatherings with friends and family to celebrate. Persian herbal tea and sharbat will be served.
